An ultrasonic sensor is an electronic device that measures the distance of a target object by emitting ultrasonic sound waves.

Are you aware? Tesla Model 3 & Model Y will no longer be equipped with front radar.

The newly announced "Tesla Vision" will rely on the car's cameras and onboard computer to control its Autopilot driver-assist system.

The Autopilot system of Tesla at present uses 8 cameras, 12 ultrasonic sensors, and forward radar to read lane lines and detect nearby cars.

With Autopilot, the car is enabled to steer, accelerate and brake automatically within its lane.

The parking sensors detect the nearby objects and create an alert when in reverse.

Slept? Don’t fret with a sensor of Forward Collision warning which is visual and audible.
