Paulo Coelho, the author of the book has beautifully portrayed the story of a young boy named Santiago, a shepherd who wanted to travel the world.
Further in the story, he went to the town to sell his flock of sheep as per the advice of the king of Salem, Melchizedek. He then met a lady, a fortune teller who told him that he would discover a treasure at the Egyptian pyramids. Later, he decided to exercise the advice given by the king and the lady.
The core message of the story revolves around Santiago and the wisdom “When you want something to happen, the whole world conspires to make it happen for you“, he was given before he left for Egypt.

2. And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie: Mystery fiction novel
And Then There Were None, a book authored by an English writer Agatha Christie is the world’s best-selling mystery novel.
The story starts with 8 chartcters who were invited by a complete stranger, the wealthy Mr. U N Owen at the isloated island of Devon, England.
They happen to meet a butler and cook-housekeeper who told them their host Owens has not yet arrived but left a message for them.
They were left with a framed copy of a nursery rhyme “Ten Little Niggers” hanging in each and every guest’s room. At dinner a sound from gramophone accused them being murderers.
The whole story is based on the theme of the famous rhyme “Ten Little Indians” in which each of ten dies one by one.
The story continues following the theme of the poem and each one of them dies one by one. When the first character dies in the morning and then second in lunchtime, other suspected Owen systematically killing them.

The third book on the list of best fiction books is from the romance genre, “The Bridges of Madison County” a book authored by Robert James Waller.
The book is about a story of an Italian-American married lady in the year 1960 living on a Madison County, Iowa, farm.
While her husband and kids are away home at the state fair, this lady gets into an affair with a national -geographic photographer from Bellingham, Washington.
It was a bestselling book in 1992 and over 60 million copies sold. The story was featured in a movie of 1995 called “The Bridges of Madison County“.

4. The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown: Thriller best fiction books
The fourth book is from the thriller and mystery genre “The Da Vinci Code” by Dan Brown.
Robert Langdon is the fictional character of the story in the book. The background of the book is about finding the mystical case of the murder of the chief curator of the Louvre Museum modern-day Paris.
The two characters, Robert Langdon and Sophie Neveu, a cryptologist, take in charge to solve the murder case of Jacques Saunière (the member of Priory of Sion organization), the chief curator.

The story is about an evil character, Count Dracula who lived in his castle in the Carpathian Mountains. To look beautiful and young, the count feeds himself with the blood of youth.
